In a pan on medium heat, place 1 cup of juice, I used Cranberry.

Add 1/3 cup of granulated sugar.

Then add 1/4 cup of corn flour (cornstarch).

Stir to combine all ingredients.

While stirring, the juice mixture will thicken. Continue to stir for 10 - 15 minutes to remove excess liquid.

Add a small amount of oil to 2 sheets of baking paper and brush it over the paper.

Place the Jel mixture on the greased paper, and place the second sheet of greased paper on top.

Roll the Jel until 3mm thick, then place it in the refrigerator for 15 - 30 minutes.

In a bowl, place 2.5 tablespoons of caster sugar (superfine sugar or baker's sugar).

In the same bowl as the caster sugar, add 1.5 teaspoons of citric acid OR lemon sugar and mix.

Remove the Jel from the refrigerator and cut into strips.

Sift the sour sugar mixture over the Jel strips.

Make sure the Jel strips are completely covered in the sour sugar mixture.
